Thank you for your interest in Intracoastal Sober Living, a FARR-certified sober living environment. Whether you are looking for a safe well-structured sober living environment for yourself or someone else, your journey into recovery should start here. We are a newly established, driven-based team focused on helping make recovery a better, happier experience by offering exceptional support and unity that is traditionally not found in other unkept recovery environments found littered across south Florida. Through years of being involved and giving back in the recovery scene, we have opened our own sober living facility designated to offer support and structure at any step of recovery. With the help of our tireless staff, we provide exceptional housing, structure, and supportive sober environment for everyone who is on the path to live a clean and sober life.
Intracoastal was founded by three partners, who combined, have over 16 years of sobriety, and are involved, and active with the day to day operations of the company. We pride ourselves on being well know and respected throughout the sober community.
Rick White
Rick is a retired police officer from Illinois that has 31 years of service with specialized work in undercover narcotics operations. Sober since 2014, he has experienced first hand the destruction and recovery of the disease. Rick is a loving father, sponsor to many in the recovery community, and a friend to everyone.
Gary Avedisian
Gary Avedisian, originally from New Jersey has made South Florida his home since 2012. He owned a tuxedo rental & sales store with his father for 28 years. He is well versed in customer relations and service and took pride in developing a family owned and run business for many years. Since retiring and moving to Florida, he has focused on his recovery as a way of life. Being sober since 2013, he has immersed himself with sponsoring others in their recovery and doing service not only on the group level but within general service in Palm Beach County. Gary is devoted to his family and many friends he has made in recovery. With this new venture and next phase of his life’s journey into the sober living industry, it is his hope he can help others transition to meaningful and happy lives.
Dustin Foreman
Dustin has worked in construction from a young age and spends his time renovating/remodeling and managing properties. He has a passion for creating comfortable and quality living environments that can make anyone feel at home. Dustin provides ongoing maintenance to ensure a worry free experience and comfort within the facilities.
